Area Manager - France opportunity with a global leader in critical communication solutions. Our client is looking to expand their international footprint in France. In this role, you'll be responsible for prospecting and developing business with key decision-makers in the assigned region. Reporting to the VP of Sales EMEA, the Area Sales Manager will drive the sales process from prospect to close and possess detailed knowledge of our client's solutions and supported integrations. The RSM will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and promoting customer satisfaction. The tasks and responsibilities align well with a security sales professional who is strong in growing the business in this area and who is looking for a new challenge to build the business in a relatively new business area.
Key responsibilities:
- Overall sales & business development leadership for the sales area, in accordance with the Business Unit Onshore EMEA strategy and priorities
- Definition and execution of the channel development plan, covering the full spectrum of channel and alliance partners
- Drive A&E specifications program and other partner programs in the assigned area
- Provide project sales support for selected partners/customers. Execute and follow up on sales activities, promotions, and workshops in the channel
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and stakeholder engagement in the safety and security industry
- Effectively communicate the commercial value proposition through proposals and evangelization
- Drive technology innovations and new business models like edge architecture, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and security as a service
- Project management & commercial coordination internally and externally in conjunction with customer projects
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and business reporting to the region and the BU
- Detect and capture market insight & customer feedback and drive internal alignment with product management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience working in a two-tier distribution model that includes managing external sales representatives or distributors
- Proven ability to drive and motivate sales channels including process improvement, solutions selling skills, adoption of technology and analytics
- Demonstrated ability to grow business organically
- Highly developed relationship-building skills, ability to build credibility and influence
- Responsible Sales Management mindset with strong leadership, strategic, analytical, business, planning, problem-solving and technical ability
- Exceptional and professional communication and presentation skills
- Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- An existing network and knowledge in Security Solutions Market is a must
- Willing to travel frequently.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 3+ years in (B2B) sales management in a relevant environment

- Base salary range: €90.000 - €100.000
